ventronemelator (n) - a word used to describe certain fans of sci-fi. One would be known as a ventronemelator after something that happens to them at certain critical points of a Sci-fi series episode, (such as Battlestar Galactica) or film ( Star Wars, Matrix ). A sci fi fan could be considered as to about to ventronemelate with excitement.

It's futuristic sound and character takes its definition a little further and a ventronemelator could also represent an object that hasn't been invented yet. For example ventronemelators are to be fixed to MP's legs to monitor their wild spending of public money. Of course in this example this is unlikely to happen, but if such a ventronemelator was invented it would then be given its own name, and would no longer be referred to as a ventronemelator.

The origins of this word are said to have materialised after two I.T. blokes (well one was I.T. the other more half I.T. half E.T.) in the city of Carlisle England had a slight misunderstanding one morning. From ones layered perception it is said a new word was born...May 2009

nb: not to be mixed up with ventronmelator which currently means nothing at all.
