Web site Design

I began designing web sites in 1999 for a company called Northern Atlas. Northern Atlas was a company that provided other companies with Bespoke Data Base systems. Most of the work was related with British Rail. My position was to create and maintain a Web site for Northern Atlas and promote the various products that where created. the work eventually took me on a separate project for a new company called Newtec Sport. Newtec was in the market to sell physio and other data base driven products to the Sports industry. My job was to provide the graphics for products, marketing materials and the Web site

Since then i have worked for myself and several other companies and as a result I have a very good understanding in the creation process of web sites and in search engine optimization. Most areas of the internet are a full time job in themselves especially if one is to stay up to date with everything. The products i mainly use are Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver, two of the best products on the market. I have also used Flash, Illustrator, Fireworks, Cinema 3d, Swift 3d and the basic Notepad to help in the creation of various web sites

The internet is a constantly changing resource and every specific company or individual requires something different from the internet to make it work for them. Currently I am working on an e-commerce site to help a successful e-bay business take the next steps that it requires. Because of its target audience a certain amount of time has been spent getting it right on MySpace. This should provide it with a very good portal before the Web site even goes online.

Graphic Design and the internet continue to provide me with the challenge and interest that I require with regards to work and I look forward to what comes next.
